Allow Me to Introduce Myself...

Hey all you music-lovers,

My name is Sean I was fortunate enough to be asked by the good people at Bauhaus Beats to start regularly contributing to the blog. I play in multiple bands, the most notable of which, The Theory of Funkativity, has provided me the opportunity to spend the last 4 months traveling around Southern California playing shows and opening for such bands as Shiny Toy Guns, Iron and Wine, Sara Bareilles, N.E.R.D., Frankie J, Motion City Soundtrack, and the Cool Kids.

I am currently at school studying to become a filmmaker, but music always was and is my biggest passion. I hate to shamelessly plug my own band, but it would mean a lot to me if musically educated, creative people like you would give us a listen and let us know what you think.

Here is our website:

in the "media" section you can listen to our full-length album in it's entirety for free.

My love for electronic music stems from the 5 months I spent living in Paris, France. Having many of the biggest names in the DJ world a short metro ride away from me made learning about the genre extremely easy and fun.

I don't pretend to have flawless taste, but I sure as hell know what kinds of music get me movin'...and I hope that the music I share with you makes you as happy as it makes me.
