In the vision of its founder Walter Gropius, the Bauhaus sought to bring harmony between artistic function and form. Incorporating art, architecture, and graphic design into one institution, the school was a revolutionary idea that grew into one of the most influential social institutions of the past century.

As a new form of art, electronic dance music has slowly transitioned from underground obscurity to the popular mainstream. With this growth, however, has come a flood of overproduced and marginal music.
